PURPOSE:To provide heat resistance, cryogenic resistance, and oil proof property which are satisfactory in terms of practical application by furnishing a covering layer of fluorosilicone type rubber on the surface of a conductor wire or at the periphery of twisted insulated wires. CONSTITUTION:A covering layer of fluorosilicon type rubber is furnished on the surface of a conductor wire or at the periphery of twisted insulated wires. The rubber used shall be of polysiloxane type wherein fluorine is substituted with alkyl radicals coupled with silicon atoms, and particularly organopolysiloxane favorable to practical use is 3,3,3- trifluoropropylmethylpolysiloxane having repetitive unit of Eq. I and fluorine- modified organopolysiloxane which is similar to the first named. This provides excellent heat aging resistance, oil-proof property, and cryogenic resistance, and also fire retardant characteristic can be enhanced easily. |
