PURPOSE:To shorten diagnostic data gathering time to quickly reraise a system by dividing registers in a processor into groups based on frequencies of diagnosis and providing a device which selects a part of plural corresponding shift busses to gather information. CONSTITUTION:Registers in a processor 10 are divided into a first group 11 having a high frequency in reference and a second group 12 having a low frequency in reference. When the processor 10 is stopped because of the occurrence of trouble, a shift control part 22 in a diagnosing device 20 is started to form a connection shift bus with prescribed bit positions of various registers in the first group 11, signal lines 31 and 32, selectors 27 and 28, and a shift register 21 and diagnostic data is transferred and held there. A transfer control part 23 divides this data to prescribed parallel data and sends it to a processing part 24 to edit and output it. When this processing is terminated, the processing system including the processor 10 is reraised immediately, and diagnostic data from the second group 12 is gathered in the same manner if necessary. |
