In order to produce coupling points for facing ends of fibre optics (11), a blind bore (28a) or a through-bore (28) is cut by melting in the lens (13) itself or in the base (23) of a pot-shaped lens holder (23) using a laser (25) and the optically active surface of a magnifying lens (13) which directs the light beam passing through it. The ends of the fibre optics (11) can be easily inserted and fixed with high precision in the bores (28, 28a), which are precisely aligned on the optical axis (27), by any fitter even outdoors.
|
