<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a servo disturbance due to a disturbance in framing an input video signal by turning a framing servo for editing on only for a recording pausing period and a specific period of consecutive recording time and turning it off for the subsequent recording period. CONSTITUTION:A servo is performed during a switch 15 being on, so that a signal from a pulse generator 9 is generated in even field, whereas a framing servo is performed, so that one and the other of a pair of recording heads are specifically related to the odd and even fields respectively. Then, a control signal is formed by a system control circuit, etc., during the pausing period and the specific period precedent to the recording commencement of the consecu tive recording, and this signal is supplied via a terminal 17 to the switch 15, so that the switch becomes on during a period of this signal, and then the switch 15 becomes off for the subsequent recording period. By this method, even when a disturbance of a video signal to be recorded is generated in its field continuity, no disturbances are ever generated to a drum servo, etc., so that the recording of an excellent video signal can always be performed.</p> |
