PURPOSE:To execute the clipping processing of a bold line display by executing coordinate conversion to a display coordinate system only concerning one segment out of respective segments (one-dot width segment) on a graphic defining coordinate system to constitute a display object bold line. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor muPr21 corresponds to segments A0A1-D0D1 and a two-dimensional coordinate value is generated in the graphic defining coordinate system of one segment out of segments a0a1-d0d1 in the graphic defining coordinate system to constitute the bold line and outputted to a coordinate converting processor Pr22. The Pr22 executes a coordinate conversion processing to be designated from a muPr1 based on the coordinate values of points a0 and a1 to be outputted from the muPr21 and conversion is executed to the coordinate values of points A0 and A1. As the result, the coordinate values of the points A0 and A1 are supplied to the 0-side input of a selector 23. At such a time, the selector 23 is controlled so as to select the 0-side input by the muPr21. A clipping circuit 24 executes a clipping processing to detect the coordinate values of the both edge point of a part to be included in a rectangle effective display area 11, which is surrounded by four straight lines out of the segment A0A1 to connect the A0 and the A1, based on the coordinate values of the points A0 and A1 to be selected from the selector 23. |
