PURPOSE:To make extrusion a regular state at an early stage and an operator unnecessary by a method wherein the title device is provided with a moving device moving a holding device, a starting device starting holding when the tip part of an extruding material arrives at a holding position and a completing device completing at a releasing position of the holding. CONSTITUTION:A holding device 43 is moved up to a position E directly before an extruding machine 1 by actuating a cylinder 21, to begin with. The tip part of an extruding material 3 turns a switch plate 54 by pushing the same at a holding position C by passing the tip part of the extruding material 3 through a space between an upper and lower holding claws 35, 36. The same is detected by an approaching switch 51, a piston rod 41 is ejected by a control device, the extruding material 3 is held by the upper and lower holding claws 35, 36, a cylinder 21 is actuated and a slider 31 and the holding device 43 are moved so that they are separated from the extruding machine 1. With this construction, the extruding material 3 is guided forward while the same is being held by the holding device 43 on a belt conveyor 5. Then when the holding device 43 arrives at a releasing position D of holding, the slider 31 is detected by an approaching switch 61, a piston rod 41 is drawn in by the control device and the upper and lower holding claws 35, 36 are released. |
