PURPOSE:To reduce the absorption coefficient of water as coupling liquid extremely by raising the temperature of the coupling liquid by a heater provided to an ultrasonic wave transducer. CONSTITUTION:The heater 9 is mounted on the periphery of an acoustic lens 4. Consequently, the heater 9 may be a small-sized type which only heats the acoustic lens 4, so heat capacity is small and temperature control is easy. Further, the coupling liquid 3 is heated by heating the acoustic lens 4, so the temperature is raised around the propagation part of an ultrasonic wave as a center and the temperature of the part where the coupling liquid 3 needs to be reduced in absorption coefficient is raised effectively. Further, the water temperature rises, so the temperature of a sample 2 can be lowered and a sample base 1 can suppress the temperature rise to low temperature. |
