PURPOSE:To produce a foam molding wherein the foam is surrounded with a skin and a base, by a method wherein a hollow molding is made by blow molding a soft plastic sheet constituting the skin and a hard plastic constituting the base under molten state in a split mold and, a foamable material is poured in the hollow molding for foam molding. CONSTITUTION:Split molds 20, 22 are opened, a soft plastic sheet 28 such as soft vinyl chloride resin and a hard plastic sheet 30 such as polypropylene are extended parallel from an extruder between the split mold 20, 22. The extruded sheets 28, 30 are in a molten state. The split molds 20, 22 are closed, both sheets 28, 30 are pinched with the split molds 20, 22, compressed air is blown between the sheets 28, 30 from a air blowing tube 32 for carrying out a blow molding. The hollow molding 31 is cooled and hardened, a material injector 36 is inserted into the hollow molding 31 in the place of the air blowing pipe, a foamable material 38 such as soft methane foam material is injected from the material injector 36 in the hollow molding 31. |
