A silane-modified ethylene copolymer. The copolymer prepared by graft copolymerizing from 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a trialkoxyvinyl silane to 100 parts by weight of an ethylene/(meth)acrylic acid ester/maleic anhydride copolymer in the presence of a peroxide catalyst. The copolymer is excellent not only in adhesion to metals, glass, or polyolefins but also in maintenance of water-resistant adhesion to glass.
