摘要

Die α-Modifikation des cis-Naphthoylen-bis-benzimidazols ist in vielen Medien instabil und fand deshalb bisher nur als Küpenfarbstoff Verwendung. Erfindungsgemäß ist jedoch die α-Modifikation gut zum Pigmentieren von Polyolefinen, wie Polyethylen, Polypropylen oder analogen Mischpolymerisaten, in der Masse verwendbar. Das Pigment, welches in üblicher Weise hergestellt wird, bleibt dabei modifikationsstabil und ergibt farbstarke rote Färbungen.
