<p>A pair of weft grippers for looms, of the type in which the weft yarn is retained by engagement of the head of a slider (2), movable longitudinally to the gripper, with a cooperating counteracting surface of the body (1) of said gripper, said slider being stressed by a spring (3) and being released under control of a lever (8) operated by an element fixed to the loom. In both grippers, the release of the slider (2) against the action of said spring (3) is obtained by direct engagement of a snug (7) of said lever with a pawl (9) fixedly connected to the slider.</p> |
