PURPOSE:To obtain a thin collector of an excellent mechanical strength and an excellent conductivity by forming a metal layer at least on one side of a conductive synthetic resin sheet mixed with Ti nitride or the like, and processing it into a collector as it is. CONSTITUTION:At least on one side of the main surface of a conductive synthetic resin sheet layer 1 to which Ti nitride alone or Ti nitride and carbon are mixed, a metal layer 2 is formed by spray-coating or vacuum-evaporating lead or a lead alloy, or laminating foils of such a material. Then the synthetic resin sheet is processed as it is, in expanding or in punching to form a collector which consists of development parts 3, undeveloped parts 4, and a collector lug 5. In such a way, a thin collector of an excellent mechanical strength and a good conductivity can be obtained, and a sealed type lead cell of an extremely thin form and an excellent discharge property can be produced. |
