<p>An X-ray line detector device, comprises an array of parallel arranged solid state detector elements. Each of the solid state detector elements (A-D) has the same width and is identically segmented into a number of neighbouring, separate segments (1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12), the central portion of a central segment (2, 5, 8, 11) having a width which pproximates that of the solid state detector element, its end portions having a substantially smaller width, the width of the end portions of the other segments (1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12) being substantially larger than that of their central portion.</p> |
