PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a sector address position detecting system in each head and to easily perform position adjustment among plural magneto-optical heads by forming angles for the rotational center of a disk among plural magneto-optical heads so as to be set at the multiple of integer of the split angle of a sector. CONSTITUTION:Each magneto-optical head is arranged so that the angles among plural magneto-optical heads for the rotational center of the disk can be set at the multiple of integer of the split angle of plural sectors 12A-12H in a magneto-optical disk 10. In other words, it is constituted in such a way that a recording head 18 is arranged at a diagonal position centering an erasing head 16. Therefore, when the erasing head 16 is positioned at the address detecting position of either sector, the recording head 18 on the other side is positioned at the sector address detecting position similarly. At this time, since each head is positioned at the diagonal position, it follows that the sector whose address is detected is positioned at the diagonal position. In such a way, it is possible to simplify the constitution of a device and to perform the position adjustment between the heads 16 and 18 easily. |
