PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of purification of polluted air by filtering air near an air pollutant at a height of about 0.5m above the surface of the earthy, removing SOX and NOX with a catalyst, etc., and releasing the resulting clean air at a height of about 1m above the surface of the earth. CONSTITUTION:Air along a principal road or near other air pollutant is sucked by a fan at a height of about 0.5m above the surface of the earth, soot, dust and suspended particles in the air are filtered off and SOX and NOX in the air are removed by a catalytic reaction or other chemical reaction. The resulting clean air is released at a height of about 1m above the surface of the earth. The height is slightly lower than the height at which a human being breathes. |
