<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the generating of the excess pressure in a container by releasing a valve member from the sealing engagement with a central passage when the internal pressure of the container is insufficient, and permanently opening the valve. CONSTITUTION: When a container 36 is filled, the flowing of the beer into the container 36 is stopped by the internal pressure, and an annular valve member 26 is moved to a sealing position. To dispense the beer from the container 36, a tapper 82 is inserted from an apex part 30 of a valve 20. An end part 84 of the tapper 82 is entered into the passage 28, whereby a poppet-shaped valve member 24 is dropped to a bottom part of a down pipe 34, and the beer starts flowing from the container 36 through a passage 86. On this occasion, the air having the pressure higher than the internal pressure of the container 36 is supplied from an air inlet 102, whereby the annular valve member 26 is blown off, and the sealing engagement with the branched passage 38 is released. The annular valve member 26 is dropped to the bottom part of the container 36, and both of the air passage 104 and the beer passage 86 are permanently opened.</p> |
