PURPOSE:To improve infilteration into a fibroblast, quicken wound healing and sustain adhesion, by adding a given amount of fibronectin to fibrinogen and thrombin mainly constituting a fibrin paste. CONSTITUTION:In a kit preparing a fibrin paste consisting of fibrinogen and thrombin, fibronectin is added. A composition ratio of the fibrin paste is such that 1-500 unit(u) of thrombin is used per 10-100mg of fibrinogen and 5-50pts. wt. of fibrinectin per 100pts.wt. of fibrinogen. On coagulation of blood, the transglutamination of blood coagulation factor VIII promotes inter-gamma-chain binding to form a fibrin crosslinking. The inter-alpha-chain crosslinking is formed via fibronectin by the same factor VIII catalytic action to perfectly complete blood coagnlation. Fibronectin can stick or bind portions between cells and between cell support tissues and provides a pharmaceutical effect of wound healing promotion. |
