PURPOSE:To obtain an image with sharp contrast at the time of a color original by providing an operating mechanism putting a filter of the complementary color to the high-sensitivity wavelength light color of a photosensitive body on and off the optical path of reflected light. CONSTITUTION:When the original is a color original, the filter of the complementary color to the high-sensitivity wavelength light color of the photosensitive body 2, i.e. a filter 24 of yellow for a photosensitive body 2 having high sensitivity in the blue area is put on the optical path 31 of the reflected light opposite the front surface part of slit glass 22. Short-wavelength blue light is therefore prevented from being transmitted and an image of a blue original part is formed without exposing the photosensitive body 2. Further, when the original is a normal black-and-white original, the filter 24 is put off the optical path 31 of the reflected light. Consequently, the quantity of the light is not decreased and excellent picture quality is maintained. |
