PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity and excellent potential stability at the time of durable use by incorporating a specific asymmetrical dis-azo pigment into a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive body contains the asymmetrical dis-azo pigment expressed by the formula in the photoconductive layer. In the formula, R1 and R2 denote a hydrogen atom., etc.; X denotes an oxygen atom., etc.; A1 and A2 denote a residual coupler group having different phenolic hydroxyl groups. Either or both of the electric carrier generation efficiency or charge carrier transfer efficiency in the photoconductive layer contg. the dis-azo pigment are thereby improved and the sensitivity and the potential stability at the time of durable use are enhanced. |
