PURPOSE:To prevent color formation due to heat or moisture of a heat-sensitive color-forming label, by forming on a support a heat-sensitive color-forming layer comprising a color-forming leuco dye, a developer and an organic fluorescent pigment prepared by adding a fluorescent dye etc., to a specified synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording material is prepared by forming on a support a heat-sensitive color-forming layer comprising a colorless or slightly light-colored color-forming leuco dye and a developer which causes color formation of the leuco dye upon heating, both as the principal components, and an organic fluorescent pigment prepared by dissolving a fluorescent dye in at least one resin selected from among acrylic, polyvinyl chloride, alkyd and aromatic sulfonamide resins. The content of the organic pigment in the color- forming layer is ordinarily about 20-150pts.wt., preferably 60-120pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. color-forming layer. |
