PURPOSE:To effectively generate heat from a heating resistor layer and stably produce bubbles, by setting a resistance between first and second electrodes in the heating resistor layer to more than three time the resistance of the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The resistance Rh of a heating resistor layer 9 between electrodes 7, 8 is set more than three time the resistance Re of a first (independent) and second (common) electrodes 7 and 8. With resistances Re and Rh specified, a pulse signal voltage is applied to heat a heating resistor layer 9 and effectively generate bubbles stably in a recording liquid. |
