PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the runaway firmly even if a motor has a great velocity ratio by monitoring the time with high actual velocity and detecting the runaway. CONSTITUTION:A runaway detecting section 13 compares an actual velocity Vr with a prescribed (limited) velocity Vs, and outputs a runaway detection signal BS in proportion to the fact that the actual velocity Vr is in excess of a specific time T which is the time above a limited velocity Vs. While, a servo controlling section 14 makes the servo control in proportion to the difference between a target velocity and a detected velocity Vs. According to the constitution, the runaway can be detected safely even for a motor provided with a greater velocity ratio and without changing the servomotor itself. |
