<p>PURPOSE:To prevent single phase power fluctuation in case that all of the single phase frequency converters of M+1 units are worked, from being generated, by working a fluctuation suppressing power rectifier for cancelling AC power source side single phase power fluctuation generated by an M+1-th power converter, at the time of M+1-phase operation. CONSTITUTION:When a car body T is about to be moved into an LMU2 from a propelling coil unit LMU1, then directly before it is moved into, current is fed to the propelling coil LMU2 from a single phase power rectifier CCX, and four-phase operation is performed. At the time of the four-phase operation, single phase output signal which is pulse-width-modulation-controlled through an inverter 8 is returned to the side of a three-phase AC power source 1 via a unit power rectifier CCY. In this case, the output of the inverter 8 is synchronized with the frequency of the output of the single phase power rectifier CCX, and is equal to the output current of the single phase power rectifier CCX in scale, and is controlled to be the current of inverted phase.</p> |
