摘要 |
PURPOSE:To contrive to prevent deterioration of superconducting characteristics under irradiation of radiation, by adding F to a YBa2Cu3O7-x-based superconduct ing ceramic to give a specific composition. CONSTITUTION:The superconducting ceramic is shown by a general formula YBa2Cu3FxO7-x-delta (0<x<=2, 0<delta<0.5). The superconducting ceramic maintains stable superconducting characteristics even being exposed to irradiation of radiation such as proton. The method of introduction of F to YBa2Cu3O7-x is not limited. For example, a method wherein fluoride of Y, Ba or Cu is used or one wherein sintered material of YBa2Cu3O7-delta oxide is produced and then F is introduced to the sintered material by vapor diffusion is considered. |
