<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize output characteristics of the title accelerator, by adopting a sector spur gear with a plurality of penetrated multiple slits arranged on the same radius, for the sector spur gear centering around the shaft of an accelerator lever. CONSTITUTION:When an accelerator lever 5 is operated, then a spur gear 1 fitted on the accelerator lever 5 is worked together with the lever, and a spur gear 2 pressed in the shaft of a potentiometer 3 is also worked at the same time. When the operation of the accelerator lever 5 is stopped, then by a return spring 4, the accelerator lever 5 is returned to an original position. Even if an ambient temperature is heightened up to 80 deg.C, a compressive stress generated on a gear fitted-on section between spur gears 1 and 2 is softened by being converted to the bending stress of both end bearing beams produced between the tooth grooves of the spur gear 1 and slits.</p> |
