PURPOSE:To enable the speed of ink inflow to the ink discharge part to be adjusted almost constant regardless of the difference in viscosity of hue ink, by providing the recording head main unit with a flow path resistance adjustment part to adjust as limit pressure just before discharge of each hue ink held by the ink discharge part of the ink chamber. CONSTITUTION:A flow path resistance adjustment part 20, formed over the whole or at a part of the head main unit 10, sets the flow path resistance covering from the ink reserve part to the ink discharge part 13b of ink chamber 13 for each hue ink, and adjusts the limit pressure just before discharge of each hue ink held by ink discharge 13b almost constant. As a result, the speed of ink inflow from the ink reserve part to the part 13b can be adjusted almost constant regardless of the difference in viscosity of hue ink, and even by use of high-viscosity ink, the image-forming frequency can be increased repeatedly. Accordingly higher-speed recording of color image can be realized for this increment. |
