PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of the productivity caused by clogging of a tundish nozzle or a long nozzle by preheating gas blowing to molten steel dis charging device in continuous casting for the steel. CONSTITUTION:The blowing gas at first is introduced to piping 7 at lower part of a tundish cover 8 from the original piping 12. Then, the preheated blow ing gas is blown into refractory at once through a header 13. By this method, metal sticking and Al2O3 deposit developed in the long nozzle 6 or this tundish nozzle 1 can be restrained. |
