PURPOSE:To obtain external preparation for the skin having beautifying action, good feeling in use, providing the skin with moisture and tension, making the skin smooth, containing a mucopolysaccharide and kojic acid and an ester thereof. CONSTITUTION:An external preparation is blended with one or more of mucopolysaccharides (e.g. chondroitin-4-sulfate) and one or more of kojic acid and an ester thereof (e.g. kojic acid dipalmitate) and pharmaceutically manufactured by a conventional procedure to give the aimed substance. The amount of the mucopolysaccharide added is preferably 0.01-2wt.% and that of the kojic acids added is preferably 0.1-2wt.%. The substance may be pharmaceutically manufactured into various forms for external use of quasi-drugs such as emulsion, lotion, liniment or ointment besides cosmetic such as cream, cosmetic, pack or powder. |
