<p>PURPOSE: To make speed control easier by arranging a plurality of balls displaceable radially with the increase in the rotation speed of a governor device in the body thereof rotated in proportion to the rotation speed of a motive power machine, and controlling the volume of an actuating fluid by the axial displacement of a controller in correspondence with the displacement of the balls. CONSTITUTION: A grinder of high rotation speed has a rotary pressure fluid motive power machine 15 rotating an emery wheel in a housing 10. The motive power machine 15 is driven by high pressure air supplied through a passage 21 formed in a handle 20. The air supply to the motive power machine 15 is controlled by a centrifugal controller 25 by means of the flow rate used as speed function of a rotor 11. The centrifugal controller 25 comprises control balls 30 received in a plurality of pockets 29 formed in a controller body 26 rotated together with the rotor 11, and a conical cap 35 moved axially against a spring 33 by the movement in the centrifugal direction together with the point of intersection of the control balls 30. The end surface of the cap 35 is separable with respect to a controller seat 37.</p> |
