<p>PURPOSE: To reduce earthquake response and raise shock resistant properties of the supported system such as the pipe system and the like by filling resilient materials in curved beam portions curved at predetermined angles with respect to the axis of the resilient beam supporting the supported object such as the pipe system and the like. CONSTITUTION: A resilient beam 12 comprising a shock-resistant support for supporting a pipe 11 has a rod 15 mounted on the hanger 14 fixed on the upper side of the pipe 11, and a curved beam portion 19 having an upper connecting joint 17 connected with a hanger 16 fixed on the ceiling 13 and an underneath connecting joint 18 slightly rockably mounted on the upper end of the rod 15. A round pipe-shaped portion 20 with openings at both ends of the curved beam portion 19 is filled with lead 12 which is a resilient material.</p> |
