PURPOSE:To enable repetitive use of a sheet by heating and rubbing out characters and images recorded with meltable ink on a sheet. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 101 does not have to have a smooth surface, but smearing is not desirable. It is preferable to use a slightly rough, white plastic sheet. Melting ink 102 printed by thermal head or the like is wiped with a heated wiper 103. The wiper should be made of an elastic material such as rubber so that it will keep in contact with the sheet while wiping. |
