PURPOSE: To improve the capacity of diagnosis at the time of displaying plural pictures and executing thier comparing diagnosis by setting up respective ranges of interest(ROIs) on plural pictures simultaneously displayed on a display screen and controlling the ROIs to be arranged on corresponding positions in the relative position relation of plural pictures. CONSTITUTION: In the case of simultaneously displaying pictures A, B consisting of the same original picture on the screen of a display 9 at an enlargement rate of A > B, necessary data for these pictures A, B are extracted from a picture storing part 2 and a picture information storing part 3 under the control of an arithmetic control part 1 by operating a keyboard 5 and displayed on the screen of the display 9. On the stage, ROIs can be set up in respective pictures A, B. A position on the other picture set up correspondingly to a position set up on one picture can be judged by comparing respective picture information previously stored in a picture information storing part 8 and executing simple coordinate transformation and respective positions are set up correspondingly in relative position relation. |
