PURPOSE:To improve the developing property and the various sensitivities of the title material, without deteriorating the graininess by constituting the material of two or more layers having different silver iodide contents respectively, and by incorporating a specified compd. CONSTITUTION:The title material with the high developing property and the improved inherent sensitivity and color sensitizing degree, without deteriorating the graininess of said material, is obtd. by incorporating the silver halide particle which is constituted of the two layers having the different silver halide contents respectively, and has a higher mean silver halide content than the silver halide content of an outer layer, and the compd. shown by formula I. In the formula, R1 and R2 are each two valent hydrocarbon group, X is -O-, -COO-, -OCO- or -NHCO- group wherein a carbon atom binds to the group R2, B is H atom, OH, COOH or COOR3 group, R3 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, (l) is 1-5 valent hydrocarbon group, etc., (n1) is 0-1, (n2) is 1-5, etc. |
