PURPOSE: To propagate the plants of Ananus and to obtain plants for appreciation of a novel kind by growing these plants until flower axes are formed, then cutting these floral axes and rooting the floral axes into a pot filled with soil. CONSTITUTION: The plants of Ananus and more particularly the plants of Pine Apple, are grown by an ordinary method to form the floral axes 16. The floral axes 16 are cut preferably in the growth stage that the plants have fruits 22 and further preferably, in the stage that the plants have the fruits 22, flowers fall and the carpels 32 of the flowers remain. The base parts of the cut floral axes 16 are thereafter rooted into the pot 34 filled with the soil preferably added with natural or synthetic plant hormones in order to facilitate the rooting of the floral axes 16, by which the propagation of the plants described above is executed.
