The holder is for an accessory such as a cushion (4) increasing the height of a vehicle seat, having a first portion in the form of a bead or notch (2). - This works with a belt (7) on the vehicle, or with the safety belt used by the occupant of the seat, incorporating waist and diagonal belts (17,18) and a lock, and fitting in front of the bead on in the notch.
