PURPOSE:To simplify the construction by providing a quick release valve between an input port and an input chamber and using the exhaust port of said valve also as the exhaust port proper of the relay valve utilizing the passage formed in the guide section in which a piston is freely slidably seal-tight fitted. CONSTITUTION:An input port 23 provided on the upper body 2 is connected to an input chamber 8 through several connecting ports 24. On the upper ends of the connecting ports 24 is provided a quick release valve 25, whose exhaust port is also used as the exhaust port 33 proper of the relay valve by utilizing the port 120 of a guide section 15 in which a seal-tight fitted piston 7 slides, and also a port 11 in the lower part 10 of the piston 7. When braking, the compressed air from a brake valve 22 flows into the input chamber 8 through the input port 23, the periphery of a rubber plate 28 of the quick release valve 25, and the connecting ports 24, and lowers the piston 7. When the braking is released, the rubber plate 28 is pushed up leaving a gap between the plate 28 and its seat. The compressed air in the input chamber 8 is exhausted through this gap, the port 120, the port 11, and out of the exhaust port 33, effecting quick release of braking. |
