APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING WEAR AND ABRASION OF TBM DISC CUTTER

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to measure abrasion of a tunnel boring machine (TBM) disk cutter and a recording medium thereof. More specifically, the apparatus to measure abrasion of the TBM disk cutter comprises: a main frame spaced apart from a support pillar at a predetermined interval, having an upper plate and a lower plate disposed on the support pillar; a rock specimen fixation unit fixating a rock specimen on one surface of the lower plate; a disk fixation unit fixating a disk-shaped disk to be able to contact with one side of the rock specimen; a disk rotation member rotating the disk-shaped disk being in contact with the rock specimen around a central shaft; and a load application unit adjusting a contacting force generated between the rock specimen and the disk-shaped disk. As such, the purpose of the present invention is to accurately measure a number of the disk cutters used during a TBM project to optimize a cutter intervention interval of the disk cutters during a TBM construction; thereby shortening a construction time.
