The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a barrier film having excellent moisture and gas barrier properties, and to a barrier film. The manufacturing method of a barrier film comprises the following steps: manufacturing a composition containing a polymer; manufacturing a metal oxide dispersion solution; manufacturing a mixed solution by stirring the metal oxide dispersion solution after injecting the metal oxide dispersion solution into the composition containing a polymer; and coating the mixed solution on a base material film.
