Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to a method and an electronic device for displaying a graphic user interface to provide a design of graphic user interface required by a user with legibility. For example, the method for displaying the graphic user interface includes setting components of the graphic user interface based on color selected by a user, determining legibility of the graphic user interface to which the set components are applied, and displaying the graphic user interface having the legibility by changing at least one of the set components according to a determination result. In addition, various embodiments of the disclosure include embodiments different from the above-described embodiment.
