The present invention provides a server apparatus and a method for providing a search result thereof, capable of multiply applying a keyword pattern set by an administrator as well as a search result selection history of a user with respect to a specific search term. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the server apparatus comprises: a search term processing unit searching for content relating to a search term from search domains when receiving the search term from a client apparatus; a rule application determination unit determining a determination rule and a determination rule application priority applied to determine a sorting order of the searched content; and a search result providing unit sorting the searched content based on the determined determination rule and determination rule application priority to provide a search result.
