PURPOSE:To improve the proofreading efficiency of an operator by plotting a character which is not registered in an output device via a plotter for confirmation. CONSTITUTION:Data produced at a character collection terminal 60 and stored in a file 61 is inputted to an input system 70. A file 30 designed by the system 70 and storing data is inputted to a conversion system 41 for conversion of data. Then a photoengraving file 43 is outputted from an output device 40. In case the data includes characters which are contained in the device 40, the data is corrected via a proofreading output system 80 based on the registered character data stored in a registered character data file 81. Then the characters are plotted on a proofreading output form 84 by an XY plotter 83. The film 43 is produced by the device 40 after an operator confirmed said plotted characters. Thus the proofreading efficiency is improved in a slip designing system. |
