PURPOSE:To simplify manufacture and to make cutting ability difficult to worsen and breakage difficult to occur, by providing a coil body in which a metallic sheet or a metallic wire is formed in a helical manner and a cutting body formed in a helical manner in an outer periphery so that it is engaged with a gap. CONSTITUTION:A cutting tool 10 has cutting bodies 16 prevented from displacement since the cutting body 16 is engaged with a gap 14 between coil bodies 12, a distance between the cutting bodies 16 is held in a longitudinal direction, and the cutting ability can be held. The cutting body 16 can be continuously manufactured by winding around the gap 14 between the coil bodies 12, and the manufacture can be simplified. When a part of the cutting body 16 makes contact with a substance 18 to be cut, the cutting body 16 is pressed in the gap 14 between the coil bodies 12, the cutting bodies 16 are uniformly pressed against the substance 18 to be cut, and this constitution enables cutting ability of the cutting tool 10 to be held in an excellent state. |
