PURPOSE:To form tiltless plastic products such as a high-quality lens with good repeatability by providing a lock mechanism for precisely and reliability operating a swing mechanism which tilts finely to correct the tilt of a lens insert on the fixed side. CONSTITUTION:The respective inserts 35 and 36 on fixed and movable sides are placed in fixed and movable sleeves 33 and 34 of metal molds 31 and 32, respectively. A stopper 39 for the insert 35 is provided on a fixture plate 37 attached to the mold 31. Three piezoelectric elements 38 are provided between a step 41 of the fixed lens insert 35 and a step of the fixed sleeve 33, and three piezoelectric elements 40 are also provided between the stopper 39 and the fixed insert 35. The three piezoelectric elements 38 and a high-voltage supply 46 form a swing mechanism for providing a very slight tilt. On the other hand, the stopper 39 and the piezoelectric elements 40 form a lock mechanism for providing a constant pressure during a molding operation after a tilt adjustment. |
