PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and repetition characteristics by using a specified disazo compound as an electric charge generating material in a photosensitive layer formed on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer 20 formed on a conductive substrate 1 contains as the charge generating material 3 the disazo compound represented by formula I having a crystal diameter of >=11mum, preferably, >=14mum, and a charge transfer material 5 dispersed into a binder resin, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to have high sensitivity and superior repetition characteristics. |
