PURPOSE:To print a clear image on a medium by employing a porous inked sheet, which is composed of a lyophilic metal film coated all over with a lyophobic material. CONSTITUTION:An inked sheet 23 is composed of a lyophilic metal film 23-1 having many pores 23a, and a lyophobic coating 23-2 applied to the metal film 23-1. The metal film 23-1 is of a metal such as nickel or stainless steel, while the lyophobic coating 23-2 is formed of a polymer resin deposited over the metal film 23-1 using electrodeposition. The polymer resin is 1-4mum thick. The diameter of the pores ranges from 5 to 20mum. |
