<p>An improved handle for articles such as a tennis racket comprises an elongate member having a second portion (24) of constant cross-section for receiving the second and third fingers (2, 3) of the hand, a first portion (22) of smaller cross-section than said second portion for receiving the fifth finger (5) of the hand, and an intermediate tapering portion (23) for receiving the fourth finger (4). The cross-section of the intermediate portion (23) tapers gradually from that of the second portion to that of the first portion. The handle brings about an improvement in muscle fatigue and strain, and is particularly useful in relieving tennis elbow.</p> |
