An arrangement for a switchback or similar conducting arrangement comprises two or more consecutive switchback parts 11, partially overlapping at the joining ends, made with a curved profile. The switchback parts 11 are produced by lengthwise division of a pipe profile, including a pipe bend, to form curved pipe parts with pipe circumference between 1/3 and 2/3. The switchback parts 11 are made from plastic pipe or pipe bends, which are outfitted with an internal smooth surface and external transverse stiffening ribs 13, formed from ring- shaped pipe pieces, to form cavities. The stiffening ribs along the edge portions of the switchback parts have mutually aligned guide slots 24 for anchoring of a plastic pipe 30 slit lengthwise, which forms the edge finish for the switchback parts. The stiffening ribs 13 on the outside of the switchback parts form a support shoulder for a support piece 18, secured to the base or to the inside of an adjacent switchback part. <IMAGE> |
