A whole grid of 525 noninterlaced lines which are in accordance with the NTSC standard is generated by means of a field store. The interlaced fields of composite color signals are applied to a delay control circuit and A/D converter. The digitised signals are applied as current inputs to a field delay and first-in first-out buffer memory. The signals are read sequentially at a line frequency equal to twice that of their input. The buffer memroy outputs are switched alternately to a luminancechrominance decoder and separator followed by a D/A converter and video matrix driving the CRT. |
