PURPOSE: To obtain the subject cotton fiber assembly having a large absorption amount of solar heat, or the like, capable of releasing the absorbed heat as heat rays such as far infrared rays or infrared rays for a long period and useful for mainly Futon (a Japanese thick bedquilt and mattress) by coating the surface of a cotton fiber assembly such as raw cotton with a synthetic resin containing a ceramic powder mixed therein. CONSTITUTION: This ceramic coated cotton fiber assembly is obtained by coating the surface of a cotton fiber assembly such as raw cotton, a chemical fiber, wool or silk with preferably a synthetic resin, then coating the coated surface with a synthetic resin containing a ceramic powder mixed therein and further coating the resultant coated surface with the synthetic resin. |
