<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate distortion, collapse and disconnection of an optical fiber, by a method wherein an optical fiber composite overhead ground wire is hung below a conventional overhead ground wire to install it so that the tension of the optical fiber composite overhead ground wire is lower than the same of said conventional overhead ground wire. CONSTITUTION:Both of the ends of a conventional overhead ground wire 13 and an optical fiber composite overhead ground wire 14 are connected to the rear end of a messenger wire 15 to install both overhead ground wires 13, 14 simultaneously. In this case, the optical fiber composite overhead ground wire 14 is suspended below the conventional overhead ground wire 13 through hanging members 6 under a condi tion that the optical fiber composite overhead ground wire 14 is more drooped slightly between the hanging members 16 so that the tension of the optical fiber composite overhead ground wire 14 becomes lower than the tension of the conventional overhead ground wire 13. The conventional overhead ground wire 13 passes through an upper snatch block 12A and the optical fiber composite overhead ground wire 14 passes through the lower snatch block 12B, however, the tension of the optical fiber composite overhead ground wire 14 is low, therefore, torsion, collapse and the like of the same ground wire 14 will never be caused.</p> |
